What You Will Do:The
SIOP Manager oversees the alignment of sales, inventory, and operations planning to ensure balanced supply and demand. This role acts as a strategic and operational leader responsible for developing accurate forecasts, coordinating planning activities, and driving collaboration across sales, marketing, operations, finance, and supply chain. The SIOP Manager plays a key role in optimizing inventory, improving customer satisfaction, and enabling operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and facilitate the monthly SIOP process with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Manage and validate sales forecasts while collaborating with commercial teams.
- Oversee supply planning, including material availability, scheduling, and capacity planning.
- Monitor inventory levels, reduce excess stock, and maintain key KPIs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all SIOP-related communication and alignment.
- Utilize analytical tools to prepare reports, develop forecasting tools, and evaluate KPIs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency.
- Train and develop team members and stakeholders on SIOP processes and best practices.
- Directly manage master schedulers and planners, providing leadership and coaching.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certification preferred (APICS, CPIM, CSCP).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in supply chain, planning, or operations management.
- Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel and Power BI.
- Knowledge of ERP/SIOP systems (Syteline and LeanDNA preferred) and Lean/Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead cross-functional teams.
Preferred Competencies - Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across multiple departments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience leading planning teams within a manufacturing or complex operational environment.
Physical Requirements: - Position may require travel up to 10% of the time
- Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers.
- Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.
- The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office
- Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Salary RangePlease note the typical hiring range is $120,000 - $180,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
