Simulation Center Engineering Lead
The OpportunityAs the Simulation Center Engineering Lead, you will oversee the operations, sustainment, and modernization of a full-scale simulation center supporting SOF missions. You will integrate technical leadership with operational awareness to ensure the reliability, performance, security, and readiness of all simulation systems and supporting infrastructure.
You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team spanning software development, systems engineering, network operations, information assurance, modeling & simulation, and enterprise IT. Your role will focus on coordinating daily technical activities, managing workloads, enforcing engineering discipline, and driving continual improvement across the simulation environment. You'll develop engineering roadmaps, champion modernization initiatives, and maintain mission-critical systems that enable training, readiness, and operational advantage.
Your leadership will empower your team to deliver resilient simulation capabilities, solve complex interoperability challenges, and support high-consequence training for the Joint Force.

You Have:- 10+ years of experience in IT
- Experience executing large-scale efforts in DMO synthetic training environments
- Experience with Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) Modeling & Simulation
- Experience overseeing operations, maintenance, and modernization of mission-critical IT or simulation systems
- Experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, cloud, system architecture, configuration management, and security enforcement
- Experience managing complex technical projects from initiation through completion
- Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, setting priorities and driving accountability
- Ability to enforce system configuration, change management, and security policies
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:- Experience working in the Special Operations Community
- Experience understanding HLS or DIS integration across simulation environments
- Experience in performing capacity planning, performance monitoring, and proactive scaling

CompensationSalary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
