About the Role

Join our Analog Validation team within Silicon & Platform Engineering and contribute to the validation of next-generation CPU technologies. In this role, you will help ensure the performance, reliability, and quality of cutting-edge processor I/O and interface technologies used in modern computing platforms.

As a Silicon/Electrical Validation Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to develop validation strategies, identify and debug issues, analyze system behavior, and drive robust solutions from silicon development through high-volume manufacturing.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Develop and execute electrical validation plans for CPU I/O interfaces and related platform technologies.
  • Create validation methodologies, test content, and automation solutions to evaluate electrical performance and functionality.
  • Perform silicon and platform debugging to identify root causes and help drive corrective actions.
  • Utilize lab equipment and measurement tools to characterize high-speed electrical interfaces and system behavior.
  • Develop and maintain validation scripts and automation solutions using Python
  • Collaborate with hardware, BIOS, firmware, design, manufacturing, and validation teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Analyze test results and provide data-driven recommendations to improve product quality and reliability.
  • Assess electrical health across silicon, platform, and system-level implementations.
  • Support validation efforts throughout the product lifecycle, including design, pre-silicon activities, bring-up, characterization, qualification, and production readiness.
  • Document validation methodologies, test procedures, findings, and recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience. Or a Master's degree in the same field with 1+ years of experience.

You must have the years described above in 3 or more of the following:
  • High speed analog and digital circuits of CPU IO
  • Experience in mixed signal design validation RTL design and/or scripting in pre or post Si environment
  • Experience in software development demonstrated proficiency with Python or C/C ++
  • Experience with hardware lab with test equipment computer systems and/or test stations


Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
  • High speed hardware design including schematic capturing and layout design is a plus
  • Good knowledge of signal integrity and power delivery network is a plus
  • Good knowledge of USB3.2, USB4, DP, HDMI, PCIe standards is a strong plus

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $105,650.00-200,340.00 USD

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
