  • Evaluate system designs and trade-space proposed by developers alongside acquisition offices.
  • Assess performance metrics using established criteria and measures.
  • Monitor schedules, recognize dependencies, and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Facilitate sprint readiness and release planning events, supporting system demonstrations and increments.
  • Review and author Request for Changes (RFCs) to assess impacts.
  • Support Agile and DevOps automated testing and verification processes.
  • Integrate new systems to enhance SIGINT mission capabilities, collaborating with developers and operational users.
  • Contribute to studies on future SIGINT capabilities for the next decade.

Full Job Description
SAIC is seeking SIGINT Systems Engineer to support SAIC's Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.

Responsibilities to include:
  • Provide subject matter expertise and agile best practices to our team; as well as perform the following functions as a SIGINT Systems Engineer, by using a holistic approach and providing end-to-end systems engineering throughout our systems' lifecycle:
  • Coordinate CONOPS of SIGINT mission planning and scheduling systems.
  • Write and translate requirements into Epics/Features based on emerging customer needs.
  • Understand system-to-system interfaces and act as an Integrator.
  • Evaluate system designs and trade-space proposed and implemented by our developers, while working in coordination with the acquisition offices (AOs)
  • Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
  • Monitor system and segment schedules, recognize dependencies.
  • Identify risks and opportunities.
  • Facilitate readiness, release planning events, and demonstrations in support of system and acquisition-level sprints and increments.
  • Review Request for Changes (RFCs) and identify impacts, in addition author RFCs for the customer.
  • Support Agile and DevOps automated test and verification (V&V)
  • Integrate new systems and initiatives in support of expanded SIGINT mission planning and scheduling capabilities, work directly with our developers and users in operations!
  • Participate in studies looking at the future generation of SIGINT capabilities spanning the next decade.


Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Current and Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly.
  • 5 years' experience with space/ground aerospace systems engineering/architecting
  • Familiarity with overall SIGINT ground customer, technical familiarity with mission control and/or processing of one or more SIGINT systems.
  • Integration and closure experience within overall customer domain
  • Willingness to learn new areas.
  • Commitment to recognize, understand, respect, and operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority.
