Job Description:
DePuy Synthes, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies,is recruiting for a SI&D Project lead to form part of the VELYSTM Enabling Tech Supply Chain team, reporting to the SI&D Lead, located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL Raynham, MA, West Chester, PA or Raritan, NJ.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
The Enabling Tech SI&D Project lead is responsible for driving and coordinating strategic initiatives and act as the PMO ensuring structured governance, prioritization, and tracking of key initiatives. This role focuses on driving end-to-end transformation to strengthen operational performance.
The position requires strong project management capabilities, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into executable programs with measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
1.PMO & Project Leadership
- Establish and manage governance structure across key supply chain initiatives
- Support prioritization, resource & budget alignment, aligned with platform strategic roadmap
- Ensure transparency through standardized reporting and executive updates
- Identify interdependencies and proactively manage risks across initiatives
- Track progress against milestones, KPIs, and value realization targets, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery
2. Strategic Initiative Execution
- Translate high-level strategy into actionable roadmaps and execution plans
- Lead end-to-end execution of platform strategic supply chain projects or workstreams in support to initiatives that will improve financial performance and support business growth, including Capacity expansion, COGS reduction and working capital optimization.
- Drive alignment across stakeholders, including value stream leaders, operations, finance, procurement, planning, quality and engineering teams
- Partner closely with Finance to ensure transparency of benefits and tracking of value realization
3. Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a central connector across functions, ensuring alignment on priorities and execution
- Influence without authority in a matrixed organization
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership
4. Continuous Improvement & Analytics
- Leverage data, metrics, and analytics to identify improvement opportunities
- Establish dashboards and KPIs to measure initiative performance and impact
- Apply operational excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
Qualifications
Education:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain. An Advanced Degree is helpful.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Planning, or related business functions.
- Proven success leading large cross-functional programs and strategic initiatives with measurable business results.
- Strong knowledge of E2E supply chain processes (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, and Lifecycle Management).
- Experience in program governance, portfolio management, financial analysis, and value realization tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, drive change, and deliver results in a global matrix organization.
Preferred:
- Experience with product cost management, budget management, and business case development.
- Experience in Supply Chain transformation, S&OP/IBP, NPI, Value Stream Management, or external manufacturing.
- Experience, training, or certification in digital analytics, business intelligence, AI, or data-driven decision-making tools.
- Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, or other relevant continuous improvement/project management certifications.
- Experience in regulated industries (Medical Device, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences) and managing global teams.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$102,000.00 - $177,100.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
