Position SummaryThe Building People, LLC seeks a Shop Foreman to lead skilled-trade operations and supervise technical staff supporting the AFRL Materials and Manufacturing Directorate (RX).
Key Responsibilities- Supervise skilled-trade technicians, including electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and plumbing staff, supporting RX facility and laboratory operations.
- Resolve service and scheduling issues, and coordinate workload, materials procurement, and subcontractor services with the COR.
- Coordinate with the Back Shop Lead, Central Shipping and Receiving Lead, and Research Equipment Maintenance Lead to deliver integrated facility support.
Notice $105-115k/yr Skills & Requirements
Required Qualifications- At least 15 years of experience in DoD Facilities Management, preferably with the Air Force.
- At least 10 years of experience as a supervisor or shop foreman.
Certifications & Screening- Ability to obtain a favorable NACI or Tier 1 background investigation and CAC.
- Valid, unrestricted state driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications- Familiarity with laboratory cleanroom operations and AFRL/RX Standard Operating Procedures.
