Full Job Description
Position Summary: The Shift Manager Security assists the Manager and Director Security with overseeing Security Department operations on assigned shifts including overseeing security department operations, delegating tasks to team members, resolving guest issues and protecting and safeguarding guest, team member and company assets.

Salary: $75,000-$95,000

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensures staff complies with approved Security policies and procedures
  • Performs visual surveillance of gaming floor, casino Cage, Count Room and other areas
  • Identifies persons engaged in cheating, theft, embezzlement and other illegal activities or activities inconsistent with established gaming procedures and or regulations
  • Notifies and involves management of suspicious or illegal activities
  • Cooperates with regulatory personnel and agencies as directed
  • Prepares shift and other reports
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to the state and federal laws and the New York State Gaming Commission regulations
  • Hires, trains and manages staff in accordance with organizational and approved departmental standards, policies and programs
  • All other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three or more years related experience
  • Knowledge of Electronic Surveillance Systems software
  • Surveillance experience preferred
  • Good computer skills required
  • Must be able to train employees on the computer
  • Possess a thorough understanding of all surveillance activities necessary for a secure casino operation
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written skills are essential
  • Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
  • Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
