Position Description & Qualifications

Serco is seeking a senior Senior Civil Engineer to join our Team. The Sr Civil Engineer Leader will be a part of the Agile Impact group. The expert provides subject matter expertise, solutions, and support to a wide range of DoD (Air & Space Force, Navy, Army, Missile Defense Agency) and non-DoD (e.g., DHS, HHS) government customers. Within DoD, we provide agile capabilities for the sustainment of existing and development/fielding of next generation capabilities.

We are seeking a highly accomplished and driven Senior Civil Engineer/Executive Leader with 15+ years of global experience in leadership, training, engineering, facilities, and installation operational support services. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success in establishing strategic vision, building coalitions, and producing results within the federal defense environment, coupled with the ability to adapt and succeed in diverse environments. This is a Full-Time position requiring support to customers primarily in the National Capital Region, with travel to support DoD, federal civilian, and commercial customers as required.

In this role you will:
  • Provide multi-disciplinary support to government offices
  • Serve as an advisor to senior government personnel, and potentially commercial entities
  • Lead working groups and develop engineering solutions to a multitude of program issues
  • Support development and execution of multiple projects on behalf of a variety government offices
  • Work with senior government personnel on a regular basis, and will frequently provide briefings and lead large meetings

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (any built infrastructure discipline)
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in leadership roles focused on long term planning and integration and execution of complex programs related to military installations and infrastructure and the sustainment thereof, including strategic planning of large-scale civil engineering programs
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
