Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• 5+ years of experience managing fiber optic installation, telecommunications, or construction projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors and third-party vendors in field contexts.
• Background in SFU and/or SBU customer support installations.
• Strong knowledge of OSP and ISP fiber optic networks.
• Familiarity with permitting and right-of-way regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project tracking software; GIS and CAD experience is a bonus.
• Valid driver's license with willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end fiber installations through subcontractors and vendors.
• Coordinate scheduling, resources, and daily activities across job sites.
• Review all necessary documentation and installation plans prior to deployment.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Resolve field issues, scheduling changes, and other installation challenges while maintaining quality.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with safety and project standards.
• Track project progress, productivity metrics, and overall costs.
