How you will make an impact:

Operational Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for day-to-day operational and financial performance of assigned station, monitoring performance against plan and initiating corrective actions to improve results
  • Reviews data on incoming flights such as scheduled or estimated times of arrival/departure, destinations and down line station stops, to plan operation
  • Responsible for maintaining station facilities, equipment, and professional appearance standards for all UGE employees
  • Willingness and ability to work beyond scheduled times due to irregular operations and/or business need
  • Performs periodic inspections on filters, pumps, valves, tanks, pressure controls, metering and gauging equipment, company vehicles
  • Responsible for compliance with Station controls and Internal Audit standards
  • Investigates causes of accidents and recommends safety measures for preventing further occurrences
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly work outside, in all weather conditions


People Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Sets a positive, accountable example for station team to ensure excellent customer service
  • Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment, strong employee relations, and collaborative relationships
  • Demonstrates a calm, direct demeanor during periods of high volume or irregular operations
  • Provides coaching and direction to the station team to achieve operational goals
  • Maintain strong working relationships with OAL / airport authorities / vendors / union / governmental authorities (FAA/TSA/CBP)/internal divisions
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems, and ensuring employees successfully complete company's training program


General Business Acumen Responsibilities:
  • Manages the station budget, staffing forecasts and resource requirements
  • Ensure through definitive methods that product meets or exceeds quality standards set forth; ensure all work is completed in a timely manner, contributing to an efficient operation, while projecting a professional image
  • Monitor local vendor performance including GSE maintenance, janitorial, etc.
  • Prepares and submits recommendations designed to improve efficiency of fueling services


What you will bring:

Required Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proficiency in fueling commercial aircraft
  • Minimum 2 years of Fueling or Airport Operations experience
  • Strong understanding of ATA Spec 103, NFPA 407
  • Ability to manage airport operations independently
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced operational environment

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess a valid US driver's license
  • Must pass pre-employment color vision test
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
