Develop & Support the Team- Serve as a resource, mentor, and leader to managers and hourly team members.
- Support managers with daily priorities, work assignments, and operational needs.
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and developing exceptional talent.
- Assist with performance evaluations and ongoing professional development.
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, kindness, and collaboration while recognizing strong performance and addressing performance concerns appropriately.
- Help develop systems and processes that improve staffing, productivity, and overall restaurant performance.
- Partner with leadership on PR, marketing, and sales-building initiatives for Sexy Roman and the food and beverage operations at the W Hotel.
- Build positive relationships with vendors, ownership, hotel partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Arizona labor requirements, Department of Health regulations, and OSHA standards.
Support Financial Performance- Take an active role in managing restaurant financial performance, including sales, labor, waste, breakage, PPA, tip reporting, and operating costs.
- Accurately process and submit payroll while maintaining appropriate labor controls.
- Coach and reinforce the timely use of waste sheets, labor proformas, and other financial tools.
- Ensure proper cash, credit, and receipt handling and reconciliation procedures are consistently followed.
- Partner with leadership to achieve P&L goals while maximizing efficiency and productivity.
- Identify opportunities to improve costs, productivity, and overall restaurant profitability.
- Take ownership of assigned budgets and costs while supporting other managers in achieving their financial goals.
What We're Looking For- Minimum of 2 years of Senior Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional, personalized guest experiences.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge with an understanding of elevated service standards.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing hospitality teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- A positive, professional, and collaborative leadership style with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting restaurant financial performance, including labor, payroll, budgeting, and cost controls.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
