Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer with AWS expertise to support the Social Security Administration's modernization and cloud discovery initiatives. This role provides both senior development support and solution leadership, ensuring secure, accurate, and scalable visibility of SSA's AWS environments within the ServiceNow platform.

***Position is hybrid, with candidate required to work onsite at SSA 3 days a week in Woodlawn, MD***

Your future duties and responsibilities:

You will analyze SSA technical requirements, develop solution architectures, maximize automation across ITOM/Discovery, and deliver operational reporting aligned with federal standards. You will also provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
. Lead configuration and troubleshooting of ServiceNow Discovery for AWS, including MID Servers, discovery schedules, credentials, and custom cloud discovery patterns.
. Discover and maintain multi account AWS environments using ServiceNow, ensuring accurate CMDB relationships across organizations, accounts, regions, VPCs, EC2, and IAM resources.
. Create and maintain cloud identification rules, reconciliation logic, and CMDB data quality controls specific to AWS assets.
. Implement and support AWS authentication & authorization models used by ServiceNow (IAM roles, access policies, STS).
. Design architecture roadmaps and operational documentation supporting SSA's ITOM and cloud governance objectives.
. Assist with prototyping, technical reviews, and SSA facing requirement discussions.
. Mentor ServiceNow Developers and contribute to overall platform maturity within the SSA environment.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Ability to obtain and maintain US Public Trust clearance
. Bachelors Degree and 7+ years of professional ServiceNow development experience across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Discovery.
. Working knowledge of AWS Organizations/Accounts, VPC networking, EC2, IAM, and multi account resource relationships.
. Hands on experience discovering AWS cloud environments using ServiceNow Discovery and MID Servers.
. Practical understanding of how ServiceNow uses IAM, temporary credentials, and cross account roles for cloud scanning.
. Experience developing system architecture diagrams, cloud discovery patterns, and operational reporting.
. Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to present technical solutions clearly to SSA stakeholders.
. Candidate must be local to SSA in Woodlawn, MD and available to be onsite 3 days per week.

Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
. CIS certifications (Discovery, Service Mapping, ITSM, ITOM)
. Experience supporting federal agencies or large scale public sector programs
. Experience with JavaScript, REST/SOAP integrations, and workflow automation

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 $176,300.00.
