Position Description: The ServiceNow Architect is responsible for owning the end-to-end architecture, design, and governance of the ServiceNow platform. This role provides strategic and technical leadership, ensures architectural integrity, oversees platform upgrades, and drives high-quality, scalable solution delivery across the enterprise.
As the Senior Solution Architect, you will lead architectural decisions, guide development teams, collaborate with business and IT stakeholders, and ensure best-practice implementation across all ServiceNow modules
Your future duties and responsibilities: - Architect and oversee the design and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions, including new modules, advanced configurations, and enterprise-grade catalog capabilities.
- Provide expert-level guidance and architectural direction to resolve complex security issues, break/fix scenarios, performance challenges, and platform-wide technical problems.
- Lead and govern the full ServiceNow upgrade lifecycle, including impact analysis, architectural assessments, instance cloning strategy, remediation planning, contingency design, and production deployment oversight.
- Communicate architectural decisions and complex technical designs clearly to administrators, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to ensure alignment and understanding.
- Define and enforce quality standards by conducting architectural reviews and QA validation, ensuring all configurations and customizations meet solution designs, user story requirements, and platform best practices before UAT.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: - 12+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong expertise across core ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Catalog, Integrations).
-Demonstrated experience as a solution architect on enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, data models, security, and integration frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and API integrations.
- Experience leading upgrades, environment strategy, and platform governance.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex designs to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with Agile delivery frameworks.
- ServiceNow certifications
Nice to Have
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CTA).
- ITIL certification or strong familiarity with ITIL processes.
- Experience with enterprise-scale transformation programs or multi-instance architectures.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $140,000 - $190,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
