The Opportunity:


Join a fast-paced Agile development program as a key ServiceNow Platform Architect. You will be part of a team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-wide ServiceNow solutions spanning Strategic Portfolio Management, IT Operations Management, and IT Service Management modules. This role will drive digital transformation initiatives and optimize service delivery across the JTMS organization.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Architecture & Implementation

  • Design and implement end-to-end SPM solutions including Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management, Application Portfolio Management, and Agile Development
  • Configure and optimize resource management and portfolio planning capabilities
  • Develop custom workflows and business rules to support strategic planning processes and governance frameworks
  • Create executive dashboards and reporting solutions for portfolio visibility and decision-making
  • Implement integrations between SPM and SAP, AWS and additional systems for cost tracking and budget management
  • Design demand intake processes with automated workflow routing and approval mechanisms
  • IT Operations Management (ITOM) Architecture & Implementation
  • Architect and deploy ITOM solutions including Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management
  • Design and implement CMDB strategies with comprehensive CI/CD pipeline integrations
  • Configure Discovery patterns and Service Mapping for accurate application dependency mapping
  • Implement Event Management solutions with automated alerts
  • Design and deploy Cloud Management solutions for multi-cloud visibility and cost optimization
  • Implement predictive intelligence and AIOps capabilities
  • Create operational dashboards and performance analytics for IT operations teams

IT Service Management (ITSM) Architecture & Implementation

  • Design and implement core ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management
  • Architect Service Portal solutions with intuitive user experiences and self-service capabilities
  • Develop Knowledge Management strategies and automated article recommendations
  • Configure Virtual Agent/Chatbot solutions with AI-powered conversational workflows
  • Implement SLA management with automated escalations and notifications
  • Design and build custom ITSM applications and modules tailored to business requirements

Platform Governance & Best Practices

  • Establish and enforce ServiceNow development standards, naming conventions, and architectural patterns
  • Conduct technical design reviews and code reviews ensuring quality and maintainability
  • Implement Update Set management strategies and release management processes
  • Design data models, application architecture, and integration patterns following ServiceNow best practices
  • Optimize platform performance through proactive monitoring and tuning
  • Develop technical documentation including architecture diagrams and design specifications.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with business stakeholders across JTMS to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Mentor and guide ServiceNow developers and administrators on platform capabilities and best practices
  • Collaborate with SAP, cybersecurity, and other application teams on integration initiatives
  • Lead technical workshops and provide platform training to development teams
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and champion SAFe methodologies within ServiceNow
  • Serve as ServiceNow subject matter expert and trusted advisor to project leadership

Qualifications:

  • University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
  • Active Secret clearance
  • 10+ years in IT with 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow platform experience
  • 5+ years architecting and implementing enterprise ServiceNow solutions
  • Proven experience implementing SPM, ITOM, and ITSM modules in production environments
  • Deep understanding of ITIL framework and IT service management best practices
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in fast-paced development environment
