Join a growing team leading the creation and delivery of world-class dealer service technician training for Bobcat equipment at the 44,000 sq ft Doosan Bobcat Training Center in Aurora, CO. Fully leverage the facility's multiple classrooms, component tear-down rooms, and expansive shop - complete with a wide range of tools, simulators, and equipment.

The Service Training Specialist develops, delivers, and enhances technical training programs that support Bobcat's dealer network and service channel. This role provides expertise in service procedures, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and product support, while contributing to curriculum development, training delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives. Scope and responsibility may vary based on experience, ranging from supporting training activities to leading complex programs and providing strategic guidance for service training and dealer development.

Role & Responsibility

Training Content Support
  • Facilitate instructor-led training in-person and virtual training for dealer service technicians.
  • Represent the training needs of dealer service technicians in all training activities.
  • Lead and support hands-on lab workshop activities and capability assessments.
  • Train dealership service technicians in the proper and safe diagnosis and repair of company equipmentcomponents.
  • Develop, administer, and perform in-house training sessions as required.
  • Organize and manage logistics for training events, including scheduling, resource coordination, andpreparation of training materials.
  • Provide follow-up support to learners and escalate complex issues to senior trainers.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on training metrics to evaluate program eff ectiveness and recommendimprovements.

Training Content Development
  • Create training content based on comprehensive Doosan Bobcat technical and design resources.
  • Lead the creation of visual training aids (animations, videos, diagrams) and hands-on aids (component cut-aways, wiring boards).
  • Work with developers and vendors to manage the creation of assigned computer based training modules.
  • Collaborate with subject manager experts to gather and prioritize content to include in training.
  • Collect and organize feedback from training participants to refi ne and enhance content and deliverymethods.
  • Implement assigned projects and training content, ensuring alignment with organizational goals andstandards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with global Service Training Instructors, Engineers, and Service teams.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with engineering, product management, and service teams toensure accuracy in training content.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to proofread service-related publications for accuracy and usercomprehension.
  • Support data collection and reporting on learner engagement and training results.

Dealer & Customer Engagement
  • Represent Bobcat at field events, dealer open houses, training sessions, and trade shows.
  • Travel to dealerships and field locations to gather insight on learning gaps and evolving needs.
  • Foster peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and best practices across the dealer network.

Industry & Competitive Insight
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging training technologies.
  • Provide thought leadership within the learning domain and integrate continuous improvement into all training efforts.
  • Travel to dealerships and field locations to gather insight on learning gaps and evolving needs.


Job Requirement

  • We value skills gained through both education and experience. Applicants may qualify with a Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, engineering, education, or technical training) or or with two additional years of relevant professional experience in accordance with applicable law.
  • 0-7 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or technical training (internships or hands-onexperience within an industrial or manufacturing environment are a plus).
  • Strong facilitation and instructional delivery skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 30-60% based on business needs and location.


This position may be filled at multiple levels depending on experience and other factors.

Level I: $58,000 - $73,000

Level II: $72,790 - $88,000

Senior: $89,000 - $109,000
