At Milton CAT, our Power and Energy Service Supervisors play a critical leadership role across both shop and field service operations. This position oversees daily workflow, dispatch coordination, technician development, customer communication, and safety performance while ensuring our customers receive industry-leading support for power generation equipment.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage people, processes, and performance while helping customers keep their critical power systems running.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do
As an Power and Energy Service Supervisor, you'll lead both shop and field operations to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery:
- Supervise and support shop and field service technicians
- Coordinate daily scheduling and dispatch activities
- Assign and monitor work to ensure productivity and quality goals are achieved
- Review service requests, parts availability, tooling requirements, and job readiness
- Track work order progress and ensure timely completion of repairs
- Support technicians with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair guidance
- Manage customer communications from scheduling through job completion
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and employee development activities
- Monitor technician utilization, productivity, and performance metrics
- Enforce company safety policies and conduct shop and field safety audits
- Coordinate workflow with service advisors, parts, sales, technical communicators, and management teams
- Assist with work order management, documentation, and invoicing processes
- Address customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

Qualifications
What You Bring
- Experience in power generation, diesel engine, heavy equipment, or related service operations
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or management experience
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, generators, and related systems
- Experience coordinating field service operations and technician scheduling preferred
- Familiarity with Caterpillar and competitive products
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop employees
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
