Service Project Manager

Drive Successful Project Delivery and Customer Satisfaction Across Industrial Operations ?

As a Service Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of customer projects from the Order-to-Remittance (OTR) handoff through the warranty period. You will serve as the primary customer interface, overseeing project execution, contract fulfillment, financial performance, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.

In this role, you will proactively identify and resolve potential issues throughout the project lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless project execution. Your ability to balance customer expectations, project objectives, financial performance, and operational excellence will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and business success.

As a Service Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Serving as the primary customer contact by resolving specification and commercial issues, managing correspondence, providing regular project updates, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Managing contract fulfillment and project execution from OTR handoff through the completion of the warranty period.

  • Managing and reporting all project financials, including budgets, costs, margins, invoicing, and collections.

  • Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks while driving mitigation plans and resolution activities.

  • Managing project deliverables, claims, contract modifications, margin enhancement initiatives, and project closeout activities.

  • Ensuring on-time project delivery in accordance with contractual requirements and customer expectations.

  • Analyzing customer order specifications and communicating project requirements to extended project teams.

  • Responding promptly to technical and commercial inquiries from customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Coordinating the resolution of non-conformances and ensuring compliance with contractual quality requirements.

  • Collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams to support seamless project execution.

  • Monitoring project milestones, deliverables, risks, and priorities to achieve business objectives.

  • Supporting customer requirements through site visits and project reviews as needed.

  • Providing responsive customer support, including occasional after-hours and weekend support when required.

  • Driving continuous communication between stakeholders to ensure transparency and project alignment.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Have a High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of experience in Project Management, Operational, or Field Service Technical role as an alternative qualification.

  • Have experience managing projects in an industrial environment.

  • Have strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement experience.

  • Have experience with risk management and quality control processes.

  • Have gearbox industry experience .

  • Have financial aptitude and business acumen.

  • Have knowledge of ERP systems, with Oracle experience being an advantage.
