A Snapshot of Your Day:
As the Service Operations Finance Leader at our Selma Service and warehouse facility, you will be a true commercial partner to the Field Service and Spare Parts Operations Managers-shaping strategy, driving performance, and enabling sustainable growth. A typical day includes leading site accounting operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SOX, and translating financial results into clear insights that guide operational decisions.
You will lead the order management/finance team, drive process improvements and operational excellence, and strengthen business continuity through robust controls, effective forecasting, and disciplined cash management.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Own site-level accounting operations, including month-end/year-end close, A/P, and A/R, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and internal policies.
- Partner with Field Service and Spare Parts Operations leaders to improve profitability, cash conversion, and productivity while supporting long-term value creation.
- Support major CapEx investments, ramp-up activities, and productivity initiatives through business cases, tracking, and benefits realization.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to enable operational decisions, cost reduction, and margin improvement; evaluate and challenge capital investment proposals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the site finance team, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and alignment with Transformers Americas' finance strategy.
- Optimize financial processes and systems (SAP and related tools) and collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and other functions to align financial plans with business objectives.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree (e.g., MBA) preferred. CPA (or equivalent) is a plus.
- 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including leadership responsibility; experience in manufacturing, service, or plant environments preferred.
- Strong capability in financial management, cost accounting, budgeting/forecasting, internal controls, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency with SAP and financial reporting tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- A people-first leader with a track record of developing talent and driving measurable business impact.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams, peers, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners.
