Service Operations Manager

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Service Manager to lead our Service Department. In this role, you will oversee a team of passionate Office and Field Technicians in delivering routine service work, emergency response services, and installation projects related to roofing and glazing.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee the Service Department team, including Supervisors, Estimators, Administrators, and Field Staff, fostering collaboration and ensuring all disciplines work cohesively.
  • Monitor project progress, documentation, workforce allocation, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Support estimating by reviewing scopes, labour/ material requirements, margins, and qualifications.
  • Supporting operations during project pre-starts, scheduling and site conditions.
  • Review invoices to ensure accuracy, workmanship and completeness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, building owners, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Support department growth through strong service delivery, sales confidence, and operational leadership.
  • Assist with process improvements, workflow management, and overall team performance.
  • Assist in hiring Office and Field Technicians.
  • Conduct team meetings as required.
  • Assist in operational costs and budget forecast.


What You Bring to the Team
  • 5+ years of experience in service management, construction operations, or field service leadership.
  • Proven experience managing customer relationships and delivering exceptional service in a construction, facilities management, property maintenance, or related environment.
  • Previous experience managing technicians, field staff, or service crews.
  • Strong knowledge of construction operations, scheduling, dispatching, and project coordination.
  • Experience working with property managers, consultants and building owners is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience in project close-out, including costing and invoicing
  • Roofing or building envelope experience considered an asset.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Sales confidence and the ability to help develop new service opportunities and customer relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites as required

  • Salary: $95,000 - $120,000
  • Pay Schedule: Paid bi-weekly, every second Friday
  • Reports To: Senior Vice President - Western Region
