Full Job Description
The Senior Architect within the Enterprise Architecture team, will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise across the enterprise architecture landscape, and AI while serving as the primary authority for ServiceNow platform architecture. This role combines deep knowledge of enterprise architecture principles with hands-on experience in designing and governing ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise standards.
  • We believe great things happen when teams connect. Our schedule is built around 4 days of high-impact, in-office collaboration (Monday-Thursday), paired with Friday Flexibility to wrap up your week remotely.
  • This role reports to our office in Alpharetta, Georgia.
  • This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.
  • This is a direct-hire role and is not open to C2C or vendors.

What you'll do
  • Architect, design and implement smart solutions in GCP/AWS using Cloud Native capabilities.
  • Establish the high-level Solution Intent for given project or problem statement
  • Establish responsibilities of major logical components of the solution in collaboration with other team members
  • Develop architecture deliverables necessary to illustrate system behavior, including usage models, and cost of ownership models and failure analysis model
  • Ensure that the solution is aligned with the technology strategy, uses standard solution building blocks and can be built and operated in an efficient manner aligned with economic value of the project
  • Develop, analyze, split, and prioritize work required to implement the system's non-functional requirements
  • Provide technical oversight of implementation, keeping the final build and overall implementation aligned with the solution intent


What experience you need
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent job experience required
  • 3+ years of experience architecting and developing software in the public cloud., including 5+ years overall relevant experience.
  • Experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability to ensure functional and performance objectives.
  • Experience in one or more languages such as Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript and/or node.js
  • Demonstrable cross-functional knowledge with systems, storage, networking, security and databases
  • Partner with Engineering, and SREs to analyze any outages or resiliency issues and provide remediation steps
  • Experience with microservice best practices and design patterns
  • Experience with event driven architecture and immutable data management patterns (CQRS)
  • Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and practices
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred

  • Experience designing scalable, resilient infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
  • Knowledge of networking, compute, storage, and security architecture patterns
  • Demonstrated experience with Generative AI technologies and platforms including GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude
  • Understanding of agentic AI architectures, AI skills development, and practical application of GenAI in enterprise environments
  • Ability to evaluate, integrate, and govern AI tools within existing technology ecosystems
  • Ability to leverage cloud-native GCP/AWS services while architecting particular products and platforms
  • Experience with multi-cloud design patterns and cloud migration strategies
  • Strong understanding of both security and DevOps principles
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub (version control, Actions, workflows), and automated deployment processes
  • Ability to design and implement solutions that meet the security and compliance requirements of the organization
  • Experience working with developers and operations teams to ensure that solutions are implemented in a way that does not impact the development or deployment process
