Full Job Description
Position Overview
The Service Line Manager is responsible for the workflow and performance of the Emergency Services Service Line to achieve expert care, excellent customer service and maximal physician/staff productivity. This individual works closely with the Vice Presidents of Operations and Nursing regarding strategic planning, development, continuous quality improvement and financial/budget reporting and monitoring. The Service Line Manager provides leadership for her/his designated area of responsibility, as well as coordination with leaders of related areas to produce optimal patient care and outcomes.

Primary Work Shift:
Day

Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40

Compensation Range:
$47.74 - $71.83 per hour, depending on experience

Education/Experience
  • Minimum Required:
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or AAS in Nursing with three (3) years of progressively responsible, relevant clinical experience; or
    • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration or equivalent Management level experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Preferred:
    • Five (5) years of experience in a health care setting, including involvement with physicians, community, program planning and implementation, and operations.
    • Master's Degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Business Administration or related field


License/Certification
  • Minimum Required:
    • Current New York State Registered Nurse License or eligible
    • CPR within three (3) months of hire.
  • Preferred:
    • Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (Nursing Administration and/or clinical practice area).
