The Opportunity:Work on the development of business requirements for alignment with technology architecture, technology infrastructure design, and technology selection decisions to assist clients with designing and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Focus on implementing Insurance Business Intelligence IT solutions, including upgrades, mobility, integration, infrastructure, and requirements definition. Provide services such as developing assessment frameworks for sourcing IT vendors, systems integration, and performance management IT solutions for planning and forecasting, analytics, and management reporting. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Should be able to monitor and plan the delivery, training, performance improvements and recruitment for this team of professionals.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business, or a related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience defining business and technical requirements. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business, or related field and 7 years of work experience defining business and technical requirements.
- Must have 5 years of experience working at or advising a property and casualty insurance carrier.
- Must have 5 years of experience managing and supervising a team of technology advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, conversion and testing.
- Must have 6 years of experience researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, insurance industry practices, and new technologies.
- Must have 6 years of experience in at least 3 or more of the following competencies:
- System selection and implementation
- Definition of business or technical requirements
- Design of business or technology architecture
- Application configuration or integration
- Data mapping, conversion, migration
- Program/project management and implementation planning (PMO)
- IT process reengineering
- Must have Application/Package experience in one of the following:
- Guidewire;
- OneShield;
- Exigen;
- MajescoMastek; or
- Duck Creek
- Insurity
- CSC
- Requires domestic and international travel up to 25%, to serve client needs.
- Ability to manage teams of technical analysts through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, conversion, and testing; based on a proven methodology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical writing and client presentations.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking through a proven ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues related to regulations, industry practice and new application technologies.

- New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices - $122,000 to $321,600
- Bay Area California offices - $127,100 to $335,100
- All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento - $101,700 to $294,800
- Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
