Job Title: Service Data & Invoice Manager

Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 office days a week)

Working Location: Indianapolis, IN

The Service Data & Invoice Manager is a leadership position within the Rolls-Royce Fleet, Contracts & Programs team supporting the Mature Engines product lines. The Service Data & Invoice Manager is focused on the business relationships between MRO Services, the engine projects, and our MRO service providers and is accountable for the cost management for the Mature Engines portfolio of products. The Service Data & Invoice Manager serves as a liaison between the OEM Engineering, Supplier Management Teams, and our service provider's engineering groups and is the focal point for our GAP analysis. This is a dynamic role with global interaction that underpins our ability to deliver services at the right cost. The ideal candidate must be able to coordinate diverse operational activities in a technically diverse and challenging global cost environment.

What you will be doing:
  • Provide professional leadership and performance management to all team members
  • Lead the process to administer, audit and approve (if applicable) engine shop visit invoices to ensure adherence to contracts, customer agreements, and MRO policies
  • Utilize performance metrics and invoice data to assist the MRO Services Value Stream Manager and Supplier Management Team to identify and address cost trends
  • Lead the GAP analysis process to drive continuous improvement and to identify cost reduction opportunities for the business
  • Maintain and improve the Timed Engine Manuals and Timed Repair Manuals
  • Provide input to the Engine Management Plan (EMP) on behalf of MRO Services and ensure our EMP is understood and utilized by our service providers to create work scopes as required
  • Utilize material usage patterns and process/repair yields to identify cost reduction opportunities

Basic Requirements:
  • Associate's degree with 7+ years of experience in managing data systems, OR
  • Bachelor's degree with and 5+ years of experience in managing data systems, OR
  • Master's degree with and 3+ years of experience in managing data systems, OR
  • JD/PhD, OR
  • 9+ years of experience in managing data systems in lieu of a degree
  • In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident


Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with Maximo, Cognos and Access
  • Knowledge and understanding of gas turbine maintenance and repair processes and procedures
  • Experience in maintenance cost analysis and statistical analysis
  • Familiarity with airworthiness regulations
  • Prioritize, work independently or in a team environment with a strong customer focus
  • Develop and maintain relationships with shop personnel
  • Understand and communicate technical details and solve complex technical issues
  • Demonstrate strategic ability, problem solving, and decision making
  • Experience working with multiple business functions, both technical and non-technical
  • Project Management experience
