Key Responsibilities of the Service and Sales Representative are:
- Build and maintain effective customer relationships, advocating for customers when needed.
- Plan and coordinate production team activities to ensure concrete arrives safely at the job, on time, and in spec.
- Investigate and resolve issues as they arise.
- Provide coaching and leadership in the field and at the plant.
- Assist Accounts Receivable in the collection of debt.
- Gather, analyze, and communicate information about customers and jobs to inform continuous improvement and help grow the business.
- Publicly represent the company.
Successful candidates for this job must have the following:- 2-5 years experience in high-spec, high volume Ready-Mix production
- Demonstrated ability to partner with teammates in sales, dispatch, production, and QC to ensure accurate and timely deliveries
- Proficiency with concrete testing and ACI Grade 1 Field Technician Certification
- Excellent communication and teamwork with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence without authority
- Comfortable learning and working with a variety of systems and tools
- Prior experience batching preferred, but not required.
Successful Service and Sales Representatives apply judgment to make decisions that support both customer satisfaction and long-term company interests. They spend a significant amount of time in their delivery area and must live and reside within 30 minutes of their assigned plant area.
