Automotive Service Advisor - Honda/Acura Experience Required

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates

As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. You will identify service needs, prepare repair orders, recommend maintenance and repair services, communicate timelines, and keep customers informed throughout the repair process.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and a solid understanding of Honda and Acura service operations.

Reports To: Service Manager

Schedule & Work Requirements

Schedule and work requirements may include full-time availability, weekday and Saturday scheduling as business needs require, and the ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Automotive Service Advisor experience
  • Honda and/or Acura dealership Service Advisor experience
  • Strong understanding of Honda and Acura maintenance schedules, warranty guidelines, service procedures, and repair recommendations
  • Proven success in achieving high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores
  • Experience selling maintenance, repair services, and manufacturer-recommended vehicle services
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, repair processes, parts, and service operations
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers in a clear and professional manner
  • Strong computer, writing, and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background screening, drug testing, and MVR review
  • Must be eligible for coverage under dealership insurance requirements

Preferred Qualifications
  • Acura and/or Honda certifications
  • Experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar dealership management software
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
  • Experience working in a high-volume service department

  • Coordinate with technicians, parts personnel, and management to ensure timely vehicle delivery
  • Maintain pricing integrity and adherence to dealership policies
  • Achieve manufacturer and dealership customer satisfaction goals
  • Support departmental sales and gross profit objectives
  • Ensure repair orders are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and fellow team members
  • Comply with all federal, state, local, and company regulations
  • Assist in creating an outstanding customer experience that promotes retention and repeat business
