Responsibilities

  • Administer warranty claims and supervise service department staff
  • Efficiently distribute work among technicians
  • Answer technical questions regarding vehicle services and repairs
  • Communicate repair timelines and updates to customers
  • Follow up with customers on estimates and pick-up times
  • Address and resolve customer complaints

Service Advisor

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establish and maintain strong positive working relationships and loyalty with customers to encourage repeat and referral business allowing for long-term clientele
  • Oversee service orders and flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled
  • Oversee administration of warranty claims as well as training and supervising of service department
  • Distribute work between technicians efficiently
  • Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs
  • Effectively communicate to the customer the timeline of repair and maintenance
  • Follow-up with progress calls and/or emails to customers regarding any changes in the estimate or pick-up time
  • Resolve customer complaints and questions

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience
  • Highline dealership preferred
  • Excellent follow-through skills
  • Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies and mechanical operations
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Consistent record of service and sales success
  • Strong record of positive customer satisfaction results
  • Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task
  • Team oriented and self-motivated
  • Experience with CDK preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

COMPENSATION:

The Service Advisor Position has a Monthly Pay Range of $2,929.33- $12,000. Pay Scale consisting of the following elements. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation and may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
  • Monthly Pay Range: $2,929.33-$12,000/month. This position pays hourly plus monthly commission.
