Job DescriptionOverviewJoin AtkinsRéalis as a Senior Watermain Design Engineer and play a key role in delivering innovative municipal infrastructure and civil engineering projects across Ontario. As part of the Municipal Infrastructure team within the Civil Engineering, Design and Project Management Division, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to develop high-quality water distribution solutions that support sustainable communities and major infrastructure initiatives. Your role- Lead the preliminary and detailed design of complex watermain infrastructure projects.
- Support Project Managers in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and resources.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare, review, and oversee design drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, technologists, and designers while ensuring compliance with municipal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the preparation of proposals and submissions in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Expressions of Interest (EOIs).
About you- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Ontario.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in municipal infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on watermain and utility design.
- Valid Class G driver's licence and ability to travel as required to project sites and client locations.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinate complex design activities.
- Aptitude for technical leadership, mentoring, and building strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

Additional informationExpected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $100,000 - $137,700 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
