Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

We9re seeking a future team member for the role of SeniorVice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Engineering GP&T Client Platform team. This role is in New York, NY.

In this role, you9ll have the opportunity to impact on our organization in the following ways:
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of full stack applications aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and security to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Drive best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to technology strategy.
  • Lead the code reviews and debugging efforts.
  • Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
  • Partner with stakeholders on project priorities, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful execution and timely delivery.
  • Continuously contributing directly to the success of project deliverables.


To be successful in this role, we9re seeking the following:
  • Bachelor9s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10-14 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
  • Experience in designing and developing large-scale, mission-critical, high-performance, high-availability systems.
  • Expert-level knowledge in design and development of client-facing RESTful APIs.
  • Strong expertise in Java/Spring Boot/REST development, including microservices and event-driven architecture implementation.
  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies: Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Software engineering experience with demonstrable, recent use of AI-native development tools as a core part of workflow.
  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS and messaging technologies (IBM MQ, Kafka).
  • Solid grasp of Git, CI/CD, containerization, and automated API testing.
  • Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, signed request verification using public/private key cryptography.
  • Experience in using code quality and static analysis tools like SonarQube or Veracode.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, either Scrum or Kanban.
  • Prior experience as a lead engineer working in finance, particularly in payments.
  • Strong technical and communication skills.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
