Your role at MOBE

MOBE is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Vice President, Employer Sales to drive new business growth within the employer market. This leader will develop and execute market strategies, cultivate relationships with self-funded employers, consultants, brokers, and strategic partners, and generate revenue through the sale of MOBE's whole-person chronic condition management solution.

The Senior Vice President, Employer Sales will serve as a trusted advisor to employer benefit leaders and consultant partners, using a consultative sales approach to demonstrate how MOBE improves health outcomes, member experience, and healthcare affordability. This role requires a strategic hunter with deep employer healthcare expertise, strong relationship-building abilities, and a proven record of selling complex healthcare and benefits solutions.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth
  • Develop and execute a strategic market plan to achieve and exceed annual sales targets.
  • Identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities with self-funded employers, healthcare systems, public-sector organizations, and labor groups.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with benefits, HR, population health, finance, and procurement leaders.
  • Lead complex sales cycles from prospecting and discovery through contracting and implementation handoff.
  • Develop compelling business cases demonstrating clinical, financial, and workforce value.


Consultant & Broker Influence
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with national and regional consulting firms, brokers, and purchasing coalitions.
  • Develop consultant influence strategies that increase market awareness and drive RFP and finalist opportunities.
  • Collaborate with consultant relations and channel partners to expand market reach and accelerate growth.
  • Serve as a trusted resource to consultants seeking innovative solutions for rising healthcare costs and chronic condition management.


Strategic Selling & Market Leadership
  • Develop a deep understanding of employer healthcare trends, benefit strategies, and competitive market dynamics.
  • Use a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach to uncover client challenges and align MOBE solutions to employer needs.
  • Deliver executive presentations, finalist meetings, and strategic business reviews.
  • Gather customer and market feedback to support ongoing product innovation and market positioning.
  • Represent MOBE at industry conferences, consultant forums, employer events, and networking opportunities.


Pipeline Management & Forecasting
  • Maintain a healthy and accurate sales pipeline within CRM systems.
  • Provide reliable forecasting and opportunity management to support revenue planning.
  • Consistently execute sales activities that drive pipeline development, advancement, and closed revenue.
  • Use data, market intelligence, and AI-enabled sales tools to improve prospecting effectiveness and sales productivity.


Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with marketing, product, clinical, and customer success teams to support growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate on proposal development, RFP responses, implementation planning, and client launch readiness.
  • Support strategic partnerships and channel relationships that contribute to market expansion.


Position Requirements

Qualifications

Required
  • 7-15+ years of successful healthcare sales experience, with a strong preference for employer benefits, population health, navigation, care management, or digital health solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding annual sales quotas.
  • Experience selling complex healthcare or benefits solutions to large employers.
  • Strong understanding of self-funded employer benefit strategies and healthcare purchasing dynamics.
  • Experience building relationships with consultants, brokers, TPAs, and employer decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated success managing long, complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data and outcomes into compelling client value propositions.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales analytics tools to manage pipeline and forecasting.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support client meetings, conferences, and industry events.


Preferred
  • Experience selling chronic condition management, care navigation, advocacy, population health, digital health, or employer health solutions.
  • Existing relationships with national consulting firms, including Aon, Mercer, WTW, Segal, Lockton, Gallagher, and HUB.
  • Experience selling into Fortune 500 employers, healthcare systems, and public-sector organizations.
  • Familiarity with performance guarantees, value-based healthcare models, and outcomes-based contracting.
  • Experience collaborating with channel, distribution, or strategic alliance partners.
  • Demonstrated success working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
