BNY is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented leader for the role of Senior Vice President, Construction Project Management and Access Control. This position is responsible for leading the delivery, implementation, operation, and governance of access control and video systems across BNY's global footprint. The role combines project execution, operational oversight, systems modernization, stakeholder coordination, and third-party management to ensure BNY's physical security technology environment remains secure, resilient, and aligned with enterprise standards.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in physical security technology, construction project coordination, access control operations, system migrations, and global vendor oversight, with the ability to lead both strategic initiatives and day-to-day execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day installation and commissioning of new access control and video systems globally.
  • Lead the conversion from BNY's legacy CCure and American Dynamics platforms to Genetec, ensuring effective planning, execution, and risk management.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Access Control Offices globally, including matters related to badge distribution, badge access, digital badges, and employee processing.
  • Assist with and oversee the programming of new access control and video devices.
  • Establish, enforce, and update global naming conventions to ensure consistency and accuracy in device management.
  • Address firmware and related system updates to keep BNY devices on current and secure versions.
  • Manage updates and patching for Genetec and other systems supporting BNY access control and video operations.
  • Assist with troubleshooting access control and video issues during testing and commissioning phases.
  • Partner with General Contractors to ensure projects meet required timelines, quality expectations, and security design requirements.
  • Coordinate with the BNY network team to ensure all required network configurations and infrastructure support are completed for new device installations.
  • Ensure compliance with BNY asset management procedures so that all security devices are properly tracked and managed throughout their lifecycle.
  • Support the identification, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies to strengthen BNY's overall physical security technology posture.
  • Assist with audits and compliance activities related to badge data and access control records.
  • Act as the engagement manager for all BNY security integrators, ensuring continued compliance with BNY ESO policies and standards.

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in physical security technology, access control, video systems, project management, construction coordination, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing global programs, technical operations, and third-party vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise access control systems, video surveillance systems, and related security technology infrastructure.
  • Experience leading system upgrades, migrations, or conversions, ideally involving legacy platforms and enterprise-wide deployments.
  • Strong understanding of device lifecycle management, patching, firmware management, and operational support processes.
  • Familiarity with asset management, audit support, and compliance requirements in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups, including security, technology, construction, facilities, and vendor partners.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project execution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
