About the roleWe are seeking an autonomous, highly experienced Senior UX/UI Designer based in Montre9al who thrives on owning complex product areas.
We are a lean, fast-moving team where everyone executes. We need a seasoned designer who can grasp highly complex concepts quickly and manage a project independently from the initial blank canvas to the final pixel-perfect developer hand-off. You don't need a manager to tell you what the next step is; you have the maturity to look at a complex problem, figure out the strategy, and build the solution yourself.
Work Model: Hybrid (2 days/week in office) - Montre9al, QC
What you'll do- Full-Cycle Ownership: Take total accountability for your features from A to Z-including user flows, wireframes, interactive prototyping, visual design, and final asset hand-off.
- Complex New Product Development: Translate highly technical, data-heavy, or ambiguous concepts into clear, logical, and elegant user workflows.
- Autonomous Project Management: Independently manage your design timelines, collaborating directly with Product Managers and Developers to ship features without needing day-to-day oversight.
- Pragmatic User Advocacy: Use research and data to justify design choices, balancing ideal user experiences with technical constraints and tight shipping deadlines.
- Design System Stewardship: Build and maintain scalable components within our Figma Design System to keep your own work-and the team's work-consistent and efficient.
Qualifications- Experience: 6+ years of practical Product/UX design experience (A proven track record of launching features in a SaaS environment is highly preferred).
- Execution & Maturity: Deep expertise in information architecture, interaction design, and high-fidelity UI. You have the professional maturity to handle major product changes smoothly.
- Tools: Advanced, expert-level mastery of Figma and FigJam. Comfortable working in an Agile environment (Jira).
- Forward-Thinking: An active curiosity for integrating AI tools to optimize your design workflow.
- Communication & Alignment: Exceptional ability to clearly explain the logic behind your design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Language: Professional proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken).
