Senior UX Designer will own UX for agreed Wisetail product areas and partner closely with the Lead Product Designer on Convergence. Your UX expertise will help shape the new platform through flows, wireframes, prototypes and informed design decisions. Working with Product, Engineering and the existing designers, you will contribute to both products as they evolve. The Head of Design will set priorities and balance your workload across Wisetail and Convergence.

What you'll do:- Work with Product and Engineering to understand customer problems, requirements and existing workflow maps. Identify missing information, challenge assumptions and compare approaches before committing to a solution.
- Map user journeys, task flows, information architecture and navigation. Make relationships between users, roles, permissions, learning content and administration tools clear and consistent.
- Create detailed wireframes and clickable prototypes that show how an experience works. Annotate interactions, decision points, dependencies and relevant loading, empty, error and recovery states so partners can understand and implement the intended behavior.
- Plan and conduct appropriate usability testing with research partners. Build on existing customer research, observe where people struggle and use findings to improve flows and interaction decisions.
- Carry agreed workflows through to clear, accessible interfaces using shared design components. Apply sound visual hierarchy, layout and responsive behavior, partnering with other designers on more demanding visual work.
- Lead UX for agreed Wisetail product areas and coordinate with the existing designers across web and mobile. Maintain clear ownership and dependable support for priority Wisetail work alongside your Convergence contributions.
- Work with engineers throughout implementation. Maintain useful design specifications, resolve questions and review the built experience against intended behavior, accessibility and interface quality.
- Partner with the Lead Product Designer on Convergence journeys, navigation, wireframes and usability decisions. Bring Wisetail and Alchemy customer insights into this work, share reusable patterns and agree priorities across both products with the Head of Design.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:- Demonstrated experience independently designing complex digital products, with ownership of substantial workflows from problem framing through implementation and iteration.
- Deep UX skills in task analysis, information architecture, navigation and interaction design. You can untangle requirements, identify gaps and explain complex behavior through clear flows and annotated wireframes.
- Strong Figma and interactive prototyping skills, with the ability to choose the right level of detail for exploration, testing and implementation.
- Experience planning or conducting usability testing, synthesizing research and product evidence, and changing designs based on what you learn.
- Solid interface design skills, including visual hierarchy, layout, accessibility and responsive behavior. You can deliver clear, consistent UI within a design system and collaborate on its improvement.
- Experience working with engineers on feasibility, data, permissions and implementation tradeoffs. You can document interactions precisely and stay involved as the experience is built.
- Clear communication, sound judgment and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering and other designers. You can explain decisions and prioritize with your partners.
