Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Urology, is searching for full-time faculty members at the rank of associate professor or professor. The appointees will have inpatient and outpatient responsibilities to support and complement the faculty in Urology. The appointees will support the prostate cancer program through treating, evaluating, and providing patient care directly. They will provide urologic oncology care to patients within the Section. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Urology or equivalent, and 4) have completed an accredited fellowship or equivalent training in urologic oncology.
