Role Overview:The Senior AI Automation Engineer will serve as a senior technical expert within Vizient's Intelligent Automation function. You will design, build, optimize, and support enterprise automation solutions primarily using UiPath, while leveraging Microsoft Power Platform and emerging AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support complex enterprise automation solutions using UiPath and related technologies.
- Build reusable frameworks, components, integrations, templates, and engineering accelerators.
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable, and supportable technical solutions.
- Contribute to solution architecture, technical estimates, design reviews, code reviews, and production readiness assessments.
- Troubleshoot complex automation, integration, performance, and production issues.
- Evaluate and implement advanced capabilities such as Agentic Automation, AI Agents, Intelligent Document Processing, Process Mining, and Generative AI.
- Mentor engineers through technical coaching, knowledge sharing, and hands-on support.
Required Skills:- 8+ years of enterprise automation, software engineering, or platform engineering experience.
- 5+ years of strong hands-on UiPath engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python, C, .NET, REST APIs, and SQL.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure OpenAI, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving, consulting, and communication skills.
Qualifications:- Relevant degree preferred.
- Ability and willingness to work onsite in Vizient's Irving, Texas office.
- Experience integrating automation solutions with APIs, databases, cloud services, and AI services.
Preferred Skills:- UiPath Advanced Developer or related certifications.
- Experience supporting an enterprise Automation Center of Excellence.
- Healthcare or other regulated industry experience.
