Full Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst to own daily cash management and liquidity operations for Mission Lane's Treasury function, reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role:

Behind every dollar of credit Mission Lane extends is someone building toward a better financial future. As Mission Lane's Treasury function takes on more scope, you'll help make sure that credit stays a tool people can count on to keep moving forward.

As a Senior Treasury Analyst, you will:
  • Monitor daily cash positions across bank accounts, and execute and track wire transfers and ACH payments to ensure timely, accurate settlement
  • Refine and maintain short and medium-term cash flow forecasts
  • Own daily and monthly bank account reconciliations, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Support the Senior Treasury Manager with ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, and partner with Accounting, FP&A, and Capital Markets to keep reporting accurate
  • Support internal controls and audit requests tied to Treasury activities, and help ensure compliance with debt covenants, investor requirements, and corporate policy

You'll thrive in this role if:
  • You spot a gap (an undocumented process, a report that takes too long, a better way to reconcile) and go fix it instead of waiting to be asked.
  • You move fast on unfamiliar territory and treat complexity as a puzzle worth solving quickly.
  • You've used AI tools like Claude to build small tools or automate parts of your own workflow, and want to keep doing more of that.
  • You want to help build something from scratch: designing and standing up treasury processes as the function matures and takes on more scope.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in Treasury, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable analytical role within financial services or fintech
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with foundational knowledge of (or a strong desire to develop proficiency in) SQL and Python
  • Strong foundational understanding of corporate cash management, treasury operations, interest rate risk, and core financial principles
  • Proven ability to operate independently, resolve complex issues within your specialization, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical, cross-functional teams
  • Remote with the ability to travel approximately up to four times a year for high-quality in-person collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite
  • Familiarity with APIs, data integration, and process automation tools (for example, pycharm, visual studio, postman, etc)
  • Experience using AI to streamline and automate business processes (Claude)
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the fintech industry (for example, SOX, GAAP)

Compensation:
Annual full-time starting base salary range: $82,000-$97,000

This role is eligible for additional compensation in the forms of participation in our annual incentive and equity programs.

Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role. Mission Lane also offers a comprehensive benefits plan, which includes paid time off, 401(k) match, a monthly wellness stipend, health/ dental/ vision insurance options, disability coverage, paid parental leave, flexible spending account (for childcare and healthcare), life insurance, and a remote-first work environment.

Application Integrity:

Our cardholders trust us with their financial well-being, and this trust starts with the integrity of the people on our team. We're looking for team members who share our dedication to transparency and truth. Please verify that the information in your application is accurate and complete.

Providing any information to Mission Lane that is not completely truthful at any point during the application or hiring process may result in removal from the hiring process, disqualification from future opportunities, withdrawal of an offer or other sanctions for candidates and, in addition for employees, disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

About Mission Lane

LendUp was an American online direct lender. It offered payday loans, installment loans, and credit cards to consumers with low credit scores using publicly available data to assess creditworthiness. The company referred to its customers as “the emerging middle class.” LendUp also issued credit cards in partnership with Tom Steyer's Beneficial State Bank. LendUp was co-founded by in 2011 by stepbrothers Sasha Orloff and Jake Rosenberg and incubated at Y Combinator. The company positioned itself as a "socially responsible lender," and claimed to provide access to financial services for "underbanked" Americans in addition to lower cost credit and credit-building opportunities. LendUp received $325 million in equity and debt financing from PayPal, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Google Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, Alexis Ohanian, Y Combinator and QED Investors, among others. In an article published shortly after the company's launch, Time Magazine wrote that LendUp "says it’s not like other payday lenders. Yet the fees it charges — a little over $30 to borrow $200 for two weeks — are similar to what its competitors charge." In 2016, LendUp paid $6.3 million in fines for deceptive practices and widespread violations of payday and installment loan laws. In 2016 it was again sued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for violating the Military Lending Act.
