Full Job Description
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Senior Treasury Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting daily banking, cash management and forecasting treasury activities.

Compensation:$71,000 - $103,000 CAD base pay annually plus annual short-term incentive

The above compensation reflects the target compensation for the position at the time of posting. The base salary offered may vary based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, education, training, job- related knowledge, and other organizational requirements. For part-time roles, salaries are adjusted according to scheduled hours.In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in Maple Leaf's annual short-term incentive plan.
Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
  • Help develop consolidated cashflow forecasts
  • Support regular treasury reporting rhythms, including actuals to forecast analysis and cash positioning
  • Help support the preparation of wires for treasury settlements
  • Support working capital needs, ensuring adequate liquidity cushion is maintained while optimizing cost of funds
  • Manage debt financing requirements
  • Coordinate foreign exchange settlements with banks
  • Prepare and post periodic journal entries for banking activities
  • Manage the preparation, renewal, and cancelation of Letters of Credit
  • Help prepare annual budget and other periodic forecast activities with a focus on cash flow and balance sheet
  • Support monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assist with quarterly internal compliance requirements
  • Support various banking projects including being a contributor to the implementation of a new treasury management system

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • An understanding of accounting principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Having a professional designation (CPA / CTP) is an asset
