Qualifications

• Registration or eligibility for registration with APEGA required.
• 15+ years of experience in highway geometric design, particularly on Alberta Transportation projects.
• Experience in municipal designs and Alternative Delivery design preferred.
• Strong familiarity with TAC and Provincial Geometric Design Standards.
• Proficient in Civil 3D design software; knowledge of Bentley is a plus.
• Strong report writing and technical documentation skills needed.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed designs for road and highway projects using Civil 3D.
• Coordinate project design teams for effective planning and design execution.
• Prepare comprehensive transportation engineering reports.
• Assist in developing project proposals to win new work.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Liaise with clients, subconsultants, and agencies effectively.
• Engage in business development for the Transportation Practice.
