Under the Catalyst AI Initiative, the team manages a multi-platform environment spanning Microsoft 365 and Copilot, Power Platform, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude for Work, and emerging AI services - with a strong emphasis on governance, information security, and responsible adoption. The Senior Technology Specialist is the operational backbone of this ecosystem: the person who keeps the platforms running, the configurations correct, the users supported, and the compliance data flowing.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

The Senior Technology Specialist administers and supports PSP's GenAI and Digital Workplace platforms (including but not limited to Microsoft 365/Copilot, Power Platform, ChatGPT Enterprise, and Claude for Work) to ensure their availability, security, and compliance with enterprise governance standards

As a Senior Technology Specialist, GenAI and Digital Workplace you'll:

  • Provide guidance and support the maintenance of GenAI and Digital Workplace platforms (Microsoft 365/Copilot, Power Platform, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude for Work), including complex troubleshooting, incident response, patching, and upgrades; propose and implement operational enhancements (automation, scripts, workflows, configuration changes) to reduce recurring incidents and improve day-to-day administration of the ecosystem.

  • Ensure platforms and operational processes comply with PSP governance requirements by maintaining operational documentation (runbooks, procedures, data-flow records), operating compliance and observability pipelines (e.g., log delivery to Microsoft Sentinel, Purview integrations, Defender for Cloud Apps policies), and monitoring platform changes and trends to recommend improvements that enhance service quality and audit readiness.

  • Oversee the implementation and management of security policies, procedures, and controls (identity, RBAC, conditional access, data protections, monitoring) to prevent unauthorized access or misuse of AI-enabled tools and to meet enterprise security and compliance requirements - including SharePoint and OneDrive configurations that underpin Copilot and enterprise search, ensuring appropriate access, classification, retention, and content lifecycle practices.

  • Manage user lifecycle and access operations across platforms (licenses/seats, onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, usage monitoring) to support capacity planning, cost management, and appropriate entitlement governance.

  • Coordinate vendor and internal escalations (Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic; InfoSec; Enterprise Architecture), track defects and feature gaps to resolution, and implement compensating controls when required.

  • Manage a delivery backlog of operational improvements and platform requests by scoping, prioritizing, ordering, and overseeing work to ensure maximum value is delivered iteratively as PSP's AI platform portfolio evolves.

  • Provide support and enablement to end users by triaging issues, maintaining knowledge of articles, and driving self-service adoption to improve time-to-resolution and user experience.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, including experience with Microsoft 365 technologies.

  • Familiarity with PowerShell or equivalent scripting for automation of administrative and reporting tasks

  • Experience with or strong aptitude for working with REST APIs, webhook integrations, and cloud middleware services (e.g., Azure Functions)

  • Understanding of information security principles: access controls, audit logging, data classification, and compliance monitoring

  • Experience with AI/ML platforms in an enterprise setting (OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft Copilot, or similar)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel, Purview, or Defender for Cloud Apps

  • Power Platform experience (Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Apps)
