We are seeking a Senior Disaster Recovery (DR) Analyst to manage, configure, and test our recovery capabilities across both on-premises and cloud environments. You will play a key role in executing DR tests and leveraging ServiceNow (SNOW) BCM to maintain technical resilience.

What you will do:

  • Disaster Recovery Testing: Coordinate and execute end-to-end technical DR production, simulation tests and tabletop exercises.
  • Tool Management: Utilize ServiceNow BCM to document recovery plans, map system dependencies, and track compliance metrics.
  • Configuration & Architecture: Assist in configuring replication and failover mechanisms for on-premises and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) to meet RTO/RPO targets.
  • Compliance & Standards: Align DR plans with Canada Life guidelines and industry practices (ISO 27031, NIST).
  • Remediation: Conduct post-test reviews to identify recovery gaps and update technical playbooks accordingly.


What you will bring:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in IT Disaster Recovery, infrastructure, or technical operations.
  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of hybrid infrastructure (VMware, backups, cloud replication) and hands-on experience with DR automation tools like SNOW BCM.
  • Frameworks: Familiarity with industry standards (ISO 22301/27031, NIST, or regional regulatory guidelines).
  • Communication: Clear technical writing skills for building actionable recovery playbooks and coordinating cross-functional IT teams.
  • Preferred Education & Certifications: Bachelor's Degree, CBCP, CDRP, or foundational cloud/ServiceNow certifications.


The base salary for this position is between $75,500 - $110,00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
