Job Description SummaryDepartment Summary Enrollment Marketing and Operations seeks a technology and business process professional to support and optimize systems that advance the university's enrollment objectives. This position serves as a key liaison between enrollment stakeholders and technical partners, translating business needs into effective system solutions that support recruitment, application processing, communications, and enrollment operations. The role evaluates business processes, gathers and documents requirements, coordinates system enhancements, conducts testing and validation activities, and supports the implementation of new functionality across enrollment technologies including Slate CRM, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, and reporting platforms. Working closely with enrollment leadership, information technology partners, and external vendors, the position provides expertise in system optimization, reporting, data stewardship, and process improvement. The successful candidate combines strong analytical and technical aptitude with an understanding of higher education enrollment operations, helping ensure systems effectively support strategic enrollment goals, operational efficiency, and data-informed decision making.
Position Profile Works with colleges, schools, and departments to understand and define IT business needs. Develops and recommends solutions. Plans implementation, integration and maintenance of solutions into business process or system design.

Physical Requirements This role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs.
Minimum Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 or more years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications - Advanced and continued knowledge of technology, especially database information applications. Experience with Technolutions Slate, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Hyland OnBase, Oracle Business Intelligence, Microsoft Exchange and Office, and Active Directory preferred.
- Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries for reporting, data validation, and analysis.
- Working knowledge of web technologies and data exchange concepts, including HTML, XML, and API-based integrations.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel and to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Experience in managing complex technical projects to completion. Experience working in a paperless environment preferred. Experience with business processes improvement/redesign.
- The incumbent serves as an agent of Ohio University and the Division of Enrollment Management, working autonomously/independently, and they must be able to anticipate and resolve issues with internal and external constituents in a variety of situations.
- Must have the ability to understand and adhere to the tenets of the Code of Ethics and Professional Practices of the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
- Experience gathering business requirements, documenting processes, conducting user acceptance testing, and supporting system implementations.
Department Enrollment Marketing
Pay Rate Target hiring range for this role is $68,299-$92,205. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position, while also considering internal equity.
This position has the option for hybrid or fully remote work. Flexplace agreements will be determined upon hire.
This position must be available to work between the hours of 8:00 and 5:00 PM (Eastern Time)
