As a Senior Software Engineering Recruiter, you will help build the software organization responsible for enabling intelligence, autonomy, controls, infrastructure, and platform technologies across NEO. You will partner closely with engineering leaders to identify, engage, and hire exceptional software talent across full-stack, embedded, firmware, systems, and infrastructure domains while helping ensure 1X continues to raise the bar with every hire.

- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines across full-stack, embedded, firmware, systems, and infrastructure engineering functions.
- Establish trusted partnerships with engineering leaders and provide data-driven guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Improve recruiting effectiveness through sourcing innovation, interview calibration, process improvements, and technical talent market intelligence.
- Help ensure hiring decisions consistently align with 1X's technical standards, organizational needs, and long-term growth objectives.
Key Competencies- Strong full-cycle recruiter with demonstrated success recruiting technical and software engineering talent.
- Skilled talent sourcer capable of identifying and engaging highly competitive software engineering candidates.
- Ability to recruit effectively across multiple software domains, including product engineering, embedded systems, firmware, infrastructure, and low-level systems engineering.
- Trusted business partner who builds credibility with engineering leaders and influences hiring decisions through data and judgment.
- Highly organized operator capable of managing multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining quality, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements- 4+ years of experience recruiting software engineering talent in fast-paced, high-growth, or technically demanding environments.
- Demonstrated success hiring across software engineering disciplines, including full-stack, embedded systems, firmware, infrastructure, or related technical functions.
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and technical talent markets.
- Experience partnering directly with engineering leaders and supporting technical interview processes.
- Ability to independently manage full-cycle recruiting activities from sourcing through offer acceptance.
Preferred Skills- Experience recruiting within robotics, AI, autonomous systems, machine learning, semiconductor, infrastructure software, or other deep-tech environments.
- Experience supporting both application-level and systems-level engineering organizations.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, operating systems, embedded software, firmware development, or cloud infrastructure technologies.
- Experience supporting high-growth startup environments.
- Experience building recruiting processes, interview frameworks, talent mapping exercises, or technical recruiting programs.

Compensation Range$110,000 - $186,000 per year
