Senior Technical Project Manager- Product

Position Overview:

Bloom, the insurance industry's trusted growth partner, is looking for a talented and motivated data engineering architect with broad experience leading teams to design and implement product-driven data solutions. This role will help propel Bloom forward in adoption of cloud technologies in Azure and/or AWS, while also migrating legacy infrastructure to cloud-native solutions. As a leader on the data engineering team, you'll foster a culture of respect and innovation while aligning your team to deliver on the company's strategic objectives.

Ideal candidates will have experience working in a health system, hospital, care management, or payer environment where HIPAA, HITRUST, and security drive the daily focus and goals. With this experience, this role provides an opportunity to mentor junior members of the team and design solutions across the company.

Position Highlights:

  • Collect and organize incoming feature requests and product feedback from internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with product to evaluate, prioritize, and track delivery of roadmap items
  • Support coordination across a portfolio of initiatives, helping ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and ownership
  • Support release planning, including coordination of timelines, dependencies, release notes, customer adoption, and stakeholder communication
  • Help define and track success metrics for features and initiatives, including user adoption, revenue generation, and customer retention
  • Maintain visibility into progress across a portfolio of work, surfacing risks or blockers early
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams through structured workflows and documentation
  • Support Agile practices, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and status tracking in Jira
  • Champion consistent product processes and help implement best practices across teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or a minimum of four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in product analysis and project or portfolio management, with a strong track record of bringing structure and clarity to complex initiatives required.
  • Prior experience in SaaS and health care technology environments, with comfort navigating complex systems or regulatory requirements


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong product mindset - able to think critically about user needs, value delivery, and implementation tradeoffs
  • Must demonstrate subject matter expertise in cloud data engineering, with deep knowledge of AWS data services, Azure data services, SQL Server, SSIS, and ETL tools such as Talend.
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions in Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure is required.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and follow-through
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Has good organizational and interpersonal skills and broad experience interacting successfully with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive working independently or as part of a team with strong software and network troubleshooting skills.
