Full Job Description
About The Role

We're seeking top project management talent to embed with a strategic client in financial services, as the bridge between business stakeholders and the Legal and Compliance team's day-to-day operations. We're open to either a product management or technical project management background. You'll bridge strategic planning, workflow automation, and the routine compliance and administrative tasks that keep Legal and Compliance running, alongside proactive business and vendor communications - bringing a product manager's mindset to everything you own, including the routine work.
What You'll Do
  • Strategic Planning: Partner with Legal and Compliance leadership to translate priorities into a working roadmap, balancing longer-term initiatives against day-to-day operational needs.
  • Workflow Automation: Identify opportunities to automate recurring compliance and administrative processes, and drive those improvements from idea through implementation.
  • BAU & Compliance Operations: Own the routine compliance and administrative tasks that keep the team running, applying the same rigor and ownership mindset you'd bring to a strategic initiative.
  • Systems Support & Data Monitoring: Provide first-line support for Legal and Compliance business systems, running daily checks on automated feeds and troubleshooting reports and data issues for business users.
  • Data Analysis & Documentation: Profile data to identify and resolve gaps or quality issues, and produce clear technical documentation and requirements to guide application builds, customizations, and QA testing.
  • Vendor & Business Communications: Act as a proactive point of contact for business stakeholders and outside SaaS vendors, managing vendor relationships and communicating with confidence, even under pressure.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work across Legal, Compliance, and business teams to keep initiatives aligned, unblocked, and moving.
What We Need

Required:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Product Manager or in a comparable role
  • Strong communication skills; confident and clear speaking with business users and outside vendors
  • Comfortable operating in high-pressure environments without losing accuracy or composure
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for stakeholder-facing materials
  • Independent and proactive - able to bring a product-manager mindset to administrative and routine work, not just strategic initiatives
  • Experience with data analysis/profiling and writing technical documentation or requirements for developers

Nice-to-have:
  • Background in legal or compliance functions (helpful, not required)
