Full Job Description
The Senior Technical Project Manager leads high-profile, matrixed projects supporting Blood Donor Services, Apheresis, and Blood Bank operations, often spanning multiple departments and external partners. The role's initial primary focus will be leading an end-to-end RFP process to evaluate and select a new blood donor system. This includes coordinating requirements gathering, developing RFP materials, managing vendor communications and demonstrations, facilitating proposal scoring, and guiding stakeholders through the final selection. The project manager will engage clinical, operational, technical, and senior leadership stakeholders to ensure the selected solution supports strategic priorities, workflow needs, system integration, security, and long-term scalability. The role plans and manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within defined scope, schedule, and budget while proactively identifying and mitigating risks. With strong technical expertise, the project manager partners with department staff, analysts, integration resources, and vendor teams to guide technology decisions, assess technical feasibility, and drive successful project outcomes.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

License/Certification/Registration Required

Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PGMP) certification required, with expectation to maintain credential.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate's relevant experience, skills and qualifications.

For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

$130,930.00 - $140,230.00
