Senior Technical Project Manager (DOLYL)

Full time, United States

BCD Travel in Atlanta, Georgia is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager. In this role, you will deliver projects with low and medium to high complexity, risk, and visibility. You will be accountable for regional project coordination, local implementation coordination, and act as a local or regional resource as part of a Regional or Global project. Projects will include coordination of multiple countries at the same time.

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will
  • Be responsible for the utilization of established and proven project management methodology, tools and processes (PMP, OPPM, Prince2, Six Sigma) to scope, plan, analyze, initiate, execute, monitor, and control projects
  • Create and maintain project plans utilizing BCD Travel's project management software
  • Request and confirm all necessary resources are assigned per the project scope
  • Establish communication method/call schedule with project team
  • Keep the program sponsor(s) and stakeholders informed about status of the project
  • Complete all project-related tasks on time and accurately
  • Manage project risks
  • Serve as point of escalation and decision making for project resources
  • Facilitate and drive decision making concerning escalations
  • Lead regular conference calls and maintain project plan updates
  • Distribute meeting notes within departmental guidelines
  • Listen to client requirements and ensure all Operations teams can fulfill requirements
  • Represent all Operations teams on project calls and communications
  • Lead or engage in strategy discussions on management level
  • Have general knowledge of internal technology utilized by BCD Travel


About you
  • You have an in-depth knowledge of Operations agent-facing technology and operational processes
  • You have in-depth knowledge of Operations scope of service
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Prior experience in Project management, account management, or business analysis
  • Experience in job offer end or related field must include the following: forecasting, market analysis, reporting analysis, and business reviews of any 40 hour work week
