SENIOR TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • B.S. in Project Management, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. MBA, MSME, or MSEE are a plus.
  • 7+ years of professional hands-on experience in Project Management.
  • Experience working in various stages of the product development lifecycle.
  • Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
  • Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Background checks are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Exposure to and Understands Earned Value Management.
  • Supplier Management Experience.
  • Experience working with CAD or ticketing systems like PDM, Teamcenter, or JIRA.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.
  • A degree in engineering, communications, business, or project management is a bonus.
  • Experience leading commercial or medical device development from concept to launch is a plus.
  • Experience writing proposals and SOWs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Champion adherence to standards, processes, tools, templates, and best practices that build and sustain the AC brand. Support the improvement of AC tools and processes as a collaborative team.
  • Manage client and AC intellectual property including execution of NDAs with vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Escalate potentially serious client issues and work with AC/Client management to ensure a successful outcome.
  • As a representative of AC, always demonstrate servant leadership, integrity, humility, self-control, candor, and respect. Build and maintain a culture that embodies AC's core values.
  • Foster a culture of mentorship by working with AC/Client management to support coaching and growth of AC/Client team members.
  • Ensure customers are delighted with all AC products and services. Take responsibility when AC performance falls short and work collaboratively to make it right.
  • Lead and develop complex multidisciplinary projects throughout the product lifecycle, from identification of need to final delivery and acceptance.
  • Accountable for project success, including road mapping, resource management, deliverables, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Assemble project teams through coordination with Department Managers and other Project Managers.
  • Provide oversight and leadership to the project team, including facilitating regular project and design review meetings, addressing technical and commercial risks, and ensuring final deliverables satisfy the customer.
  • Develop and communicate detailed project plans using AC/Client project management tools.
  • Assist with staffing management at specific client sites.

The salary range for this position is based on national rates. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base Salary: $107,000.00 - $175,000.00.
