  • Coordinate milestones, dependencies, implementation cycles, shared resources, and cross-functional execution.
  • Drive accountability for delivery within approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk parameters.

Stakeholder Management
  • Build trusted relationships with sponsoring executives, business leaders, product and engineering teams, risk partners, vendors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate timely decisions, resolve conflicts, align priorities, and remove obstacles that affect delivery.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and relevant status reports, governance materials, and executive presentations tailored to the audience.
  • Serve as a liaison across organizations to maintain alignment on outcomes, risks, and commitments.

Governance and Risk Management
  • Establish and maintain governance, decision-making forums, reporting standards, change controls, and escalation paths.
  • Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Monitor program health, delivery performance, scope changes, and adherence to organizational policies and methodologies.
  • Escalate concerns with clear options, recommendations, and impacts to support informed decisions.

Financial and Resource Management
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, resource plans, and capacity needs.
  • Partner with resource managers to secure the knowledge, skills, and staffing required for successful delivery.
  • Oversee vendor engagements, contracts, and third-party dependencies.
  • Optimize the use of resources while maintaining delivery commitments and controls.

Organizational Change and Continuous Improvement
  • Integrate business readiness, change management, communications, and adoption activities into delivery plans.
  • Improve program management practices, tools, governance, and delivery processes.
  • Coach team members in planning disciplines and promote collaboration, accountability, and consistent execution.

Success Measures
  • Programs and projects achieve committed business and technology outcomes within approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk parameters.
  • Governance enables timely decisions, transparent reporting, and effective escalation.
  • Risks and dependencies are identified early and managed proactively.
  • Stakeholders remain aligned, informed, and prepared for implementation and adoption.
  • Delivery practices and organizational capabilities improve over time.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 10 years' experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects.

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Experience leading technology transformation, platform modernization, or integration initiatives in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Working knowledge of modern technology architecture, software development lifecycles, and Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches.
  • Financial services experience, preferably within consumer and business banking, core banking platforms, payments, data, risk, or other regulated technology environments.
  • Ability to translate complex business and technical information into actionable insights and compelling executive-level communications.
  • Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities.
