Full Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager who is passionate about enabling the teams they work with to effectively and efficiently deliver valuable products in line with the DO vision.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at DigitalOcean, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing cloud computing and AI and will drive value delivery for a set of technical programs. This individual will be an experienced cross-functional leader who champions continuous improvement and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They will apply technical literacy along with program management experience to navigate delivering on commitments as a leader on their team.

In this role, you will partner with Product and Engineering leaders to drive the delivery of valuable, often complex, technical programs to achieve significant DO objectives. You will embody servant leadership to ensure efficient, effective value delivery. You will be a proactive collaborator at all times while driving consensus where needed and influencing decisions when teams are stuck.
What You'll Do:
  • Drive value delivery for major technical programs including prioritization, planning, risk management, execution, and measurement of success
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders throughout the life of the program on value delivery and process/practice improvements
  • Build relationships within and across teams to lead stakeholders toward a common goal
  • Drive decision-making across multiple teams, stakeholders, and locations
  • Effectively communicate to ensure program requirements, timelines, objectives, and expectations are understood and supported by internal and external stakeholders
  • Aid in resolving impediments, conflicts, demands, and priorities
  • Proactively manage changes in scope. Work unplanned program issues to resolution, including the development of plans forward, escalation, and increased resources. Recognize risk and form mitigation plans as required
  • Drive continuous improvement and develop effective, scalable, and sustainable ways of working
  • Evangelize technical project & program management best practices across partner teams
Compensation Range:
  • $125,000 - $151,000

You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance.
