Leo is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) located remote to support the development and certification of the aviation products.
As a Senior TPM, This is a role to lead development of the products for the Aviation markets. This role will support the development of the aviation products through qualification testing, drive programs through our Aviation partners for manufacturing, certification (STC) and support interfaces with the OEMS. They need to have expert level knowledge working with communication systems in satellite mobile platforms. They will manage the product lifecycle from core design to meet aviation requirements while collaborating with cross functional organizations such as Operations, software and hardware engineering, customers, product managers and perform NPI with our manufacturing partners.
You will ensure hardware design and deliverables align with the STC and OEM requirements for key builds. You will collaborate with the customers, suppliers, Device TPM, Product Integrity, Finance, Operations (including Quality, Operations Program Managers, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering) to successfully mitigate challenges and maintain project milestones. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. The ideal person will treat the Senior TPM with a "Founder's Mentality" and own all Day One deliverables like it is their own start up.

Key job responsibilities
Senior Hardware TPM need strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to scale communications to the correct audience for decisions to be made.
Emphasize speed of decision within the product development cycles and manage critical issues through optimized prioritization of resources and personnel.
Working with overseas customers, internal and external teams on developing products.
Scale and evolve key processes and design review checkpoint mechanisms to enable responsible last minute decision making on one way and two way door decisions.
Manage and communicate product development critical issues, work collaboratively to execute solutions meeting key product KPI and escalate as required when teams are unable to reach a consensus or decisions are one - way door.
A day in the life
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing execution of the qualification, certification and development of hardware and software with a balance of technical skills, bias for action, customer obsession, and ownership. The TPM will collaborate daily onsite with the hardware development team located in Redmond, WA including Product Design, Industrial Design, Electrical, and Antenna teams. On a weekly basis, the TPM will create agendas and presentations leading to meetings at the Director and VP level to make timely one way and two way door decisions to maintain project timelines, finances, requirements and deliverables

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience or equivalent experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Master's degree in a technical field, or Master of Business Administration
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience or equivalent experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules or equivalent
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
