Responsible for analyzing and directing IT related activities of the organization/program with managerial responsibilities for staff assigned to the IT department or program. Accountable for ensuring continuity of computer, network, and application services for users throughout the organization and customers' external to the organization through planning, technical leadership, and project management.
- Provide strategic direction for all FA1 operations and transformation initiatives.
- Own automation roadmap and lead adoption of IaC, RPA, orchestration, and AIOps.
- Manage vendor relationships (AWS, Azure, VMware, Microsoft, Oracle).
- Coordinate with FA2, FA3, FA4 leads for integrated service delivery.
- Present at monthly PMRs, quarterly leadership briefs.
- Manage risk register and escalate critical issues.
- Oversee 24x7 operations and on-call rotation management.
- Drive year-over-year efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience; Master's Degree preferred.
- 8+ years IT infrastructure management experience with 5+ years leading large-scale automation/cloud transformation programs
- Public Trust Clearance(or ability to obtain)
Other Job Specific Skills- Expert knowledge: AWS/Azure cloud platforms, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- PMP or equivalent program management certification.
- Strong communication skills for C-level stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to think long-term and establish achievable action plans.
- Proven experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve them.
- Actively looks for ways to help people in the most effective manner.
- Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Understands the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
- Proven experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve them.
